With moves like a high-priestess, Charlotte OC sings with a voice calling to the ghosts of her past. Yet her music is as modern as can be, with a dance-floor orientated electronic pop that borrows as much from Lana Del Rey’s extreme sensuality as from the theatricality of Kate Bush or Bat For Lashes. Her first EP, “Colour My Heart,” was released at the end of last year, and the young English women, of Malawian, Indian and Irish descent, has since been working on her first album. On stage, she is said to be strict and captivating, and we hope to hear her play the tracks that will lead her to the top.
