Grande Halle de la Villette,

If you were there at last year’s Pitchfork Music Festival Paris, and González’ face is familiar to you, then remember that he was on stage last year as the front man of Junip, the band he has been working on these last four years. And for those who remember the stripped-down and heart-throbbing folk songs of his solo work, a return to his original name is a blessing. Though we are still awaiting the Swiss-Argentinian’s follow up to his last solo album, 2007’s “In Our Nature,” we will be able to enjoy his finger-knitting guitar work and troubling voice as it resonates through the Grande Halle de la Villette, like a hymn in a cathedral.
