Minda Tindle sits somewhere between French pop and American indie. It all started out rather innocently doing backing vocals on The National’s albums, before shooting out in her own right, under the watchful eyes and ears of her mentors. The result? An intellectual and deep sound that’s as sweet as it is enchanting, sung in French – or sometimes even in English. It’s been three years since brilliant Parades hit the airwaves, and we’d be lying if we said we weren’t looking forward to seeing Mina Tindle grace the stage, reigning over it in her independent and intelligent way.
