Mogwai’s five Scotsmen and their huge band of followers are proof that Post-Rock will not die! The favourite band of the late great John Peel (for whom Mogwai has recorded no less than seven Peel Sessions in their beginnings) is close to its twentieth birthday, yet has never seemed so youthful. Earlier this year, they released their 8th album “Rave Tapes”, which earned them a Top-Ten place in the British Charts, a reputation as the last bastion of Post-Rock, and was proof that with age comes beauty. On top of that, a large part of France discovered the band thanks to their work on the soundtrack of the only French series envied by the rest of the world: The Returned. So come and see what a beautifully ageing band looks like, in what could be a lesson for so many English bands out there.
