Ryan Lott, the composer and producer from Colorado who hides in the shade of his alias Son Lux, has released two of the major albums of the last few years. Last year, he released his latest album, “Lanterns”, the perfect blend of baroque pop à là Sufjan Stevens and fascinating electronic experimentations. This year, he has resumed his collaboration with Stevens and rapper Serengeti, under the Sysiphus moniker, to release one of this year’s greatest works, a mixture of icy Hip-Hop and orchestral Pop. And after his recent collaboration with Lorde on “Easy”, the film industry itself can not get enough of Son Lux. His recent film credits include the soundtrack of “Looper” and “The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby”. From shy genius to acclaimed artist, the Grande Halle will be the perfect place to experience the complex symphonies of Son Lux.
