Yo La Tengo

Grande Halle de la Villette,

It is not often that France gets the honour of welcoming one of America’s most influential and respected indie rock bands. Since 1994, Yo La Tengo, with husband and wife duo Ira Kaplan and Georgia Hubley at its core, has gathered a relentless cult following, both from audiences and critiques. Earlier this year, and almost 30 years after their debut, Yo La Tengo released their 13th album, Fade, which turned out to be one of their greatest successes. And although their studio forays are less punk and noisy than they used to be, with softer Pop songs, the crowds swear that on stage, Yo La Tengo is as wild as ever, no Rock for old men.
