Projet né à Berlin de l’amitié entre Ziv et Alice, strongboi a vu le jour avec une esthétique lo-fi faite de claviers Casio et de boîtes à rythmes. Aujourd’hui porté par un live band de six musicien·nes, le duo explore une pop joyeusement hybride, entre ballades jazzy et hymnes disco-funk. Après une série de singles remarqués, leur premier album éponyme, enregistré dans leur studio La Pot, dévoile un univers singulier, intime et ludique. En 2023, strongboi s’est illustré en tournée européenne à guichets fermés (Berlin, Paris, Londres), avant de jouer à Tokyo et Los Angeles. En lice pour les Anchor Awards au Reeperbahn Festival, ils préparent un second album à paraître en 2025.

Born from the friendship between Ziv and Alice in Berlin, strongboi began as a lo-fi experiment with Casio keyboards and drum machines. Now a six-piece live band, their sound blends jazzy ballads with disco-infused funk, keeping the DIY charm of their early days. Following a string of acclaimed singles, their 2023 self-titled debut—recorded at their home studio La Pot—revealed a playful and genre-blurring universe. In 2023, they embarked on a sold-out European tour, with stops in Berlin, Paris, and London, followed by debut headline shows in Tokyo and Los Angeles. Nominated for the Anchor Awards at Reeperbahn, strongboi is now gearing up for their sophomore album in 2025.
