Witch Post réunit Dylan Fraser (Écosse) et Alaska Reid (États-Unis), deux artistes issus de scènes opposées mais curieusement liées : ils viennent chacun d’un village nommé de la même façon, l’un en Écosse, l’autre au Montana. Ensemble, ils cherchent à réenchanter la musique de groupe, mêlant l’intensité rugueuse du rock écossais et l’élan libre de l’indie américain. Leur nom, inspiré de sculptures du XVIIe siècle censées repousser les sorcières, rend hommage à cette figure. À travers l’écriture, Witch Post explore le monde et ses mystères avec poésie et puissance.

Witch Post is the collaboration between Scottish artist Dylan Fraser and American musician Alaska Reid. Though from different scenes—UK alt and US indie—they share a surreal coincidence: both grew up in towns with the same name, one in Scotland, one in Montana. Together, they aim to reclaim band music, blending the wolfish bite of Scottish rock with the expansive drive of American songwriting. Their name nods to 17th-century carvings meant to ward off witches—an homage they’ve turned into art. Through their songs, Witch Post explores the world’s textures and how they feel within it.
