Originaire de Brixton, la chanteuse, auteure-compositrice et musicienne Etta Marcus mêle Americana sombre et indie rock raffiné, comme sur son mini-album The Death of Summer & Other Promises (2024). Issue d’une famille musicale et formée au jazz, elle s’est révélée pendant le confinement en publiant ses chansons en ligne. Ses morceaux, évoquant Sharon Van Etten ou Phoebe Bridgers, l’ont menée à rejoindre Platoon puis Polydor. Après les singles « Salt Lake City » et « Hide & Seek » (2021), son EP View from the Bridge (2022) et Heart Shaped Bruise (2023), elle confirme avec « Theater », titre phare de son dernier projet.

Brixton-born singer, songwriter, and musician Etta Marcus blends dusky Americana with sophisticated indie rock, showcased on her 2024 mini-album The Death of Summer & Other Promises.
