Angus Scratch Green compose de la « country hors-la-loi » (outlaw country) adaptée à l’ère d’Internet. Des récits de peines de cœur, de trahisons, d’addictions et — parfois — de grâce, filtrés par une oreille façonnée au post-punk, des lèvres rivées à une cigarette Marlboro, et une pratique autodidacte de la guitare acoustique. Puisant ses influences chez les crooners de cabaret et les chanteurs de jazz des clubs enfumés du milieu du XXe siècle, chez The Velvet Underground et Townes Van Zandt, mais aussi dans la scène underground soviétique et l’imagerie des « cowboys solitaires », ses chansons s’inscrivent dans un entre-deux troublant, à la frontière entre confession intime et performance scénique.
Angus Scratch Green est actuellement en tournée pour défendre son premier album, *God Is My Colt 45*.

Angus Scratch Green writes outlaw country for the internet age. Tales of heartache, betrayal, addiction, and (occasionally) grace are refracted through ears trained on post-punk, lips chained to Marbolo’s, and an autodidactic approach to acoustic guitar.
Drawing from the lounge lizards and smoky jazz singers of the mid-century, the Velvets and Van Zandt, the Soviet underground and the Lonesome Cowboys, his songs occupy an uneasy space between confession and performance. Angus Scratch Green is currently touring in support of his debut album, God Is My Colt 45.
