Hether est le projet solo du musicien et auteur-compositeur originaire de San Diego, Paul Castelluzzo. Débutant à 17 ans comme guitariste de studio pour Rodney Jerkins à Los Angeles, il accompagne ensuite l’artistebachata Romeo Santos en tournée. Fin 2017, la perte soudaine de sa sœur bouleverse sa vie. Pour surmonter ce deuil et faire face aux doutes existentiels, il ressent le besoin de composer pour lui-même et lance Hether début 2018. À travers son EP Hether Who? et le single « When U Loved Me » (clip réalisé par Alex Lill), l’artiste mêle mélancolie et nostalgie lumineuse. S’inspirant des Beach Boys et du surf, sa musique cherche à offrir une véritable thérapie, transmettant une joie spontanée et une évasion bienveillante pour toucher le cœur des auditeurs.

Hether is the solo project of San Diego-born guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter Paul Castelluzzo. Leaving high school at 17, he began his career as a studio musician in Los Angeles for producer Rodney Jerkins, before touring with bachata star Romeo Santos. Following the sudden loss of his sister in late 2017, he turned to songwriting as a way to heal from grief and existential confusion. Launching Hether in early 2018, Castelluzzo created a self-expressive outlet to evoke the carefree, surf-inspired nostalgia of his childhood and the warmth of The Beach Boys. With his EP Hether Who? and the single “When U Loved Me” (directed by Alex Lill), Hether channels grief and love into an uplifting, deeply moving sound built to brighten listeners’ lives.
